Morgan, Countz--I am looking for anyone who knew my husband's Grandmother Ada Wilkerson Countz Morgan, married to M. D. Morgan of Mellwood. Born 1861 or 1871. Died Aug 7, 1952, buried in Turner Cemtery. lcountz@totalzone.com 01-04
Snider, Hill--I am looking for my Gr-Grandfather, Richard Marion "RM" Snider, who fought in the Civil War and lost his arm at the battle of Resaca (Georgia). He was married to Nancy A Hill. He died in 1890 and we haven't been able to find where he is buried. His brother, Daniel Snider, is buried in Marvel, AR, but in what cemetery we are not certain. We have just come across this info and would appreciate anyone that has a Phillips Co. cemetery book, or would be willilng to find out in what cemetery Richard is buried. Thank you, JE Sanders. gagampapaj@prodigy.net 08-03
Ellis--My ancestor, Byron Ellis, lived in Phillips Co. in the late 1800's and died in 1910. He died in Little Rock at his daughter's house and is buried in an old cemetary at Hyde Park (about 10 miles out of Helena). I would like to know if I can obtain a death certificate or other information from a death record on him. A few years ago I wrote somewhere in Little Rock asking for the certicficate and even sent a check. They never responded, even after two letters. What would you suggest I do? I am unsure who his mother was since she died soon after his birth in 1846 in Ohio. I have been told that often a death record will have this information. Also did Arkansas have death certificates in 1910? Thank you for any help or suggestions. Lynn Ellis White. lynnelliswhite@charter.net 02-03
