Eccles/Ekles/Eckles/Accles/Echols, Cunningham, Moreland--I am searching for a William & Frances Eccles, Ekles, Eckles, Accles, or Echols that lived in Hardin Co., Savannah PO, in 1870 census. Her family (Cunningham) lived in McNairy County. William may have died before 1900 as Frances moved to Fannin Co., TX 1900 and 1910 census to live with her daughter Ella Nancy Ekle-Moreland per census. I was wondering if anyone had access to Hardin Co. Cemeteries that could check for any of the above spellings or a Moreland surname. Possibly the Savannah Cemetery. She would have died between 1910 and 1920 and may be buried with her husband and other children. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sandi Thompson. gdt@jps.net 02-04
Junior, Poindexter2--Mattie Elle Junior--I am researching the Junior Family in Hardin Co., Tn. My ggrandfather Milton J. Junior had a daughter named Mary Junior born1872 in Ga. Now this Mattie Elle Junior that married John A. Poindexter April 29 1894 Hardin Co., TN. would be the right age. Now Milton had a brother Jessie Travis Junior who had a daughter named Mattie Junior. Didn't know they were in TN. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Norma. Maxwell712@aol.com 12-03
Motley, Poindexter, Williams, Quinn, Cole--Looking for information on my gg-grandfather Dr. Joseph Motley, m1 Jane Poindexter, m2 Susannah Williams, m3 to Mar Quinn and m4 to Mary Cole. Thank you, Donna Motley Campbell. dmc22c@mindspring.com 08-03
Kimble/Kimbell, Balin, Tolbert--J. W. Kimble (appears as Kimbell in 1880 Hardin Co. Census) was married to Mary Ann Balin Kimble in 1880 with children Mary Elizabeth Kimble 12, Robert Henry Kimble 10 (my Grandfather), and Charles Wesley Kimble, 5. The first two children were born in AL, but Charles Wesley Kimble was born in Middleton, TN, so the family had been in TN at least 5 years in 1880. By 1883, J. W. Kimble was married to Mary Tolbert from Savannah, TN. J. W. Kimble and Mary Tolbert Kimble had a child, William Edgar Kimble, born in Jan of 1882. Ergo, Mary Ann Balin Kimble must have died between the 1880 Census and early in 1881. I would appreciate any information on J. W. Kimble, Mary Elizabeth Balin Kimble, May Tolbert Kimble, and their children. jckimble@adelphia.net 04-03
