This is a list of the headstones I was able to locate at Chapel Hill Cemetery. I noted comments on each that needed noting. I have pics of maybe about half of them. This cemetery is located at 35*09'01.65" N, 89*49'43.92W. It is surrounded by a new subdivision off of Mullins Station Road and between Raleigh-Lagrange and Whitten Roads.

Note from surveyor: Not sure what the story is, however, it looks like due to the building of a new sub-division, most of the people were moved. I believe that a church maybe owned some of the land at one time and maybe an individual owned some of the other part. This is directly across Mullins Station road from Shelby Farms. You can see where there once laid a grave but it's been dug out, however, there are still headstones. Some of the graves have been as recent as 1990's. The name of the cemetery, I have done some "digging" myself, was called Chapel Hills, that area was once called Mullins, TN. The cemetery was owned by Hills Chapel MB Church on Charles Bryant. I guess it was an African American cemetery. It is very overgrown and some of the headstones that remain have been vandalized.
