McCarty, Perryman--I am looking for the identification of the two following Civil War Soldiers:  Henry McCarty, Jan. 25 1924, MS PVT 129TH RES LABOR BN OMC and Oscar Perryman MAR. 16, 1920, MS PVT 302 STEV REGT.  I believe these must have been black soldiers, possibly freed slaves, but do not know which side of the Civil War they served on.  Can anyone help?  Ann Stewart McDonald.  Castlerok29@aol.com    ^05-04

Graves, Powell--I am researching the family of Middleton Graves and Effie (Powell) Graves found in Covington County, MS.  He was born in 1856 and married in Covington County, MS in 1873.  Children listed are Mollie Graves born 1874, Kate Graves born 1876, William Graves born 1879, Bob Graves born ?, Will Graves born ?, Minnie Graves born ?, Oliver Graves born ?, Leffie L.
