Robbins, Berry, Hall, Moore--Hi, my family is Robbins that lived in the area of Yalobusha and Grenada Counties.   The name is Lewis or Louis M. Robbins born in 1867.  I need the father of Lewis M. Robins.  He may be found on the census with Mother, Sarah E. Berry, Hall.  I think she married a Moore after Lewis M. Robbins was born.  Thanks, Irma.  ibrister@juno.com    04-04

Lawrence--Samuel Lawrence born in 1835, AL, was listed in the 1850 Choctaw Co., MS, census with his parents, Benjamin Lawrence and Margaret (_____) Lawrence, along with siblings, Richard Lawrence, Emily Lawrence, Mary A. Lawrence, and Charles Lawrence.  Samuel Lawrence went to Bowling Green, KY, in the early 1860's and according to an old letter he married in Bowling Green. I need the name of his wife.  He was in Grenada, Grenada Co., MS, by 1870.  Family letters say that he was a very prominent banker.  Which bank?  Who was his wife?  Did he have children?  The letter also states that his wife went back to Bowing Green after Samuel died in 1888.  According to the 1880 census he was living alone and his occupation was listed as Attorney's secretary.  What happened to his wife?  He died in 1888 and is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Grenada.  If anyone can help me out on this mystery, I would appreciate it.  Elizabeth.  bholmes@the-i.net    08-03
