Weeks/Wickes--My great-great grandfather Fieldin Franklin Weeks married Lucindy Jane _______ August 31, 1857, in Itawamba Co.   Fieldin born Jan. 6, 1831, Lucindy born Jan. 24, 1840.  F. F. Weeks was in 43rd Infantry, Co. McKay, Ables, Harrison, Patton--Do you have any information on the McKay family in Itawamba in 1850 and 1860?  Father, William Mc Kay, born in Ireland, and wife Jane?  They had several children including: William F., Michael, Hugh Jackson, Samuel, and John.  Where did the family come from? Michael married Mahala Ables, Samuel married, Permelia Ables in Itawamba.  Who were the parents of the Ables girls?  There was also a Robert Harrison who married Margaret Patton in Itawamba about 1850.  Can anyone tell me anything about either of these families in Itawamba?  These are all my family lines and I would appreciate your help.  Contact: Leightoninoregon@cs.com

McAfee--I am looking for information on D. R. McAfee and Mary L. (Stephens) McAfee. They were married in Itawamba County in 1889.  Mary is buried at Ripley, MS (Tippah County) and D.
