Taylor, Hartzog, Hemphill, West--I am searching for information on Henry Taylor born ? died in 1831 in Lawrence County, Mississippi.  He married Rachael ? They moved to Mississippi about 1817.  Their 4 children were all born in Georgia before the move to Mississippi.  The 4 children were as follows:  1.  William B. Taylor born 27 February 1800 in Montgomery County, Georgia; married Loving E. J. Hartzog on 31 January 1828 in Lawrence County, Mississippi; died 5 October 1856.  2.  Henry J. Taylor born 16 January 1813 in Georgia; married in Marion County, Mississippi; Had 14 children; died about 1895 in MIssissippi.  3. Permelia Taylor born ?; married to James L Hemphill; died 1844.  4. Nancy Taylor born 1802; married James M. Harvey, Davis, Scarborough--Evan Harvey and Margarett Henrietta "Hettie" Davis were married on June 8, 1852, in Lawrence County, Mississippi by Justice of the Peace Dan Scarborough. Thought someone might like the information about the JP.   They had two or three children before moving to Louisiana in about 1858 to l859.  I am still researching Evan and Margarett.  Need any information I can get about place of residence, place of marriage, birth of children, family of either, both born in Mississippi according to La census 1870. This information came from her application for a Confederate Widows Pension in 1905, (in Louisiana) long after Evan's death in 1872 of pnuemonia.
