Smith born 1837, William Augusta Lee Smith born 1839, Morris Smith born 1859 married Savannah Mucklerath, James Benton Smith, born 1841, died in the Civil War, Elizabeth Ann Smith or Betsy Smith born 1847 married Daniel Webster Lott, Samuel Scott Smith born 1848 married Laura Gardner, Barbara Jane Smith born 1850 married Billy Broom, Z. T. Smith born 1854, Mary Matilda Smith born 1856 married Sidney G. Smith, and Eliza Easter Smith born 1852 was said to have married a W. H. Jones or W. H. Berry.  John Murrell Smith married an Elizabeth ____.  John Murrell Smith had the following children: Will F. Smith or Willie F. Smith married Mary Brown. Farthing, Elliott, Brister--Looking for information on Richard Edward Farthing married to Maude Ellen (Elliott) Farthing.  I am trying to link Richard to his parents.  He was born about 1810/1812 and died in 1891.  They were married about 1850.  I understand he and them were from somewhere in Va.  If you have ANY information on Richard Edward please write back......He was my GG Grandfather and I am trying to do a search on the Farthing family.  Richard's son Daniel Webster Farthing was my G Grandfather, my Grandfather was Walter Scott Farthing, My Mother being Loyce Mae Brister.  Thank you for your help....... Taylor, Hartzog, Hemphill, West--I am searching for information on Henry Taylor born ? died in 1831 in Lawrence County, Mississippi.  He married Rachael ? They moved to Mississippi about 1817.  Their 4 children were all born in Georgia before the move to Mississippi.  The 4 children were as follows:  1.  William B. Taylor born 27 February 1800 in Montgomery County, Georgia; married Loving E. J. Hartzog on 31 January 1828 in Lawrence County, Mississippi; died 5 October 1856.  2.  Henry J. Taylor born 16 January 1813 in Georgia; married in Marion County, Mississippi; Had 14 children; died about 1895 in MIssissippi.  3. Permelia Taylor born ?; married to James L Hemphill; died 1844.  4. Nancy Taylor born 1802; married James M. West on 20 December 1827; Had 5 children; buried at Hazlehurst, Mississippi at Antioch Cemetery on 24 January 1838.  Does anyone have any information on who Henry's or Rachael's parents are?  Daniel Singleton.  Email me at PatriciaCSing@aol.com   01-03

Harvey, Davis, Scarborough--Evan Harvey and Margarett Henrietta "Hettie" Davis were married on June 8, 1852, in Lawrence County, Mississippi by Justice of the Peace Dan Scarborough. Thought someone might like the information about the JP.   They had two or three children before moving to Louisiana in about 1858 to l859.  I am still researching Evan and Margarett.  Need any information I can get about place of residence, place of marriage, birth of children, family of either, both born in Mississippi according to La census 1870. This information came from her application for a Confederate Widows Pension in 1905, (in Louisiana) long after Evan's death in 1872 of pnuemonia.
