Edwards born 1862  (This is my gr grandfather), Louisa Edwards  born 1864, Alonzo Edwards  born 1867, William Edwards born 1870.  I would sincerely appreciate any help or suggestions you can give me.  Thanks, Lynette.  Kindttex@aol.com    05-04

Amerson--Looking for Amerson's that would have been in Madison Co. around 1864.  My Amos Young Amerson went to Canton, Mississippi to see someone or meet someone the fall of 1864.  Believe it was a relative.  By Sept 1865 he is back in Blount Co., Alabama.  Frieda Glenn Bennett.  AMERSON, SALYERS, MCDONALD, CORNELIUS, WALKER.  fjgb@earthlink.net    03-04

Carney, Kearney, Emmahka, Parker--Seeking death records on half-Choctaw Jeremiah Carney, signer of Doak's  & Dancing Rabbit Treaties, lived on "so. side of Robinson Rd., in sight of the Parker Place", served in l812 Choctaw Militia, wife was Emmahka, died probably after July l848 according to documents/affidavits filed. Seeking data on his death and burial site. Also seeking descendants of Jeremiah and info. on his Irishman father, Arthur Kearney who came in with French in l730. Will gladly exchange info. Many thanks!  June Carney Pollard, TN. junesam@bellsouth.net    10-03

Moore--Searching for Moores in Madison Co., specifically, Gibson Moore in the area in the early 1800's. I think his wife's name was Elizabeth Moore.  Children were Leroy Moore, Elizabeth Moore, William Moore, Joseph Moore and Margaret Mary "Polly" Moore.  They later show up in Yazoo Co.  Gibson may have had a Ferry Boat on the Pearl and a homesite named Sara.  Gibson was in Carsons Mississippi Regiment during the War of 1812.  About to give up on this search, have been at it for a long time.  Allan Moore.  alvileor@juno.com    09-03

Bentley, Thomasson--Please help me to find the graves of my GGGrandparents. William Bentley died April 15, 1864, in Yazoo County, but lived in Holmes County.  He served in Company F  3rd Regiment 1st Brigade Minute Men.  He married Eliza (Once married to a Thomasson).  I have very little else on either of them, except they left 2 small children upon their deaths:  Sarah Bentley and Emsley Burns Bentley who I know nothing about.  They lived in Holmes around 1855 to 1864, owning land he left to Richard Thomasson along with his children.  Please, if anyone might know of any information about them, please let me know.  Also, I am looking for the grave of William Bentley, if anyone might have seen it...  Thanks, Cathy B. Hilley.  Cathy@targetmarketadv.com    01-03
