Neal, Kirkland, Johnson2--Henry Clay Neal: Looking to find the family of H. C. Neal. He was born on Nov. 3, 1882, and married Ruby Kirkland (choctaw) on Dec 6, 1914. After he was born he was given to the nanny to be raised. Then he was given to George Johnson and Sallie Johnson as a "hired hand." He later was schooled, and owned Rock Hill Farm, I believe in Philadelphia. The family later moved north to Muskegon, MI. His son Theophiluos Neal was a resident in Philadelphia. Please contact me, Brandy, if you have any information that could help. Thank you. millerb2@sbcglobal.net 04-04
Pridgen, Aiahnichih Ohoyoh, Iahnecha, Pritchlynn, Folsom, Chief Miko Puskush--Pridgen research. I am looking for a Choctaw Indian woman named Aiahnichih Ohoyoh. We have information that she was part of the Mississippi Band of Choctaws, and lived around mid 1700's and died, ???? She was said to have had a daughter named Sarah Autra Pritchlynn, born 1802, died 4-20-1866. Now I have found different records stating she and her sister,Iahnecha, were both married to the same man, Nathaniel Folsom, at the same time, which was common during those years. Both sisters were neices of Chief Miko Puskush, of the Northeastern district of the Choctaws. One of the sons, David Folsom, became the first chief to be elected by ballot in 1791. So you can see the confusion! I would much appreciate any info anyone has to contribute towards solving these mysteries. If you know of a website, please include the address in your reply. Thank you, Janet (Pridgen) Bliss-Smith, Oklahoma. janeydan@yahoo.com 03-04

Nelson2, Autrey--I am searching for information on an individual by the name of William Nelson, born in 1820, who is buried somewhere near Philadelphia, Mississippi. The information I have indicates he is buried in the Choctaw Indian Mound Cemetery (??). I'm not familiar enough with Mississippi to know if there is more than one (I would assume there is!) Choctaw Indian Mound Cemetery. Mr. Nelson was quite possibly buried where Confederate soldiers were buried in that area. This man may or may not be my ancestor. He was married to Molinda Jane (Autrey) Nelson, who came to Texas, apparently after his death, and was buried near Troy, Texas in 1882. Any help you might provide would be helpful or any suggestions you might make as to where I can access the information needed on the Internet would be appreciated. Thank you so much. Ms. "CC" Winfrey, Fairfield, Texas. crownw2000@yahoo.com 01-04
