Wingate--I am looking for any information on my grandmother, Nancy Ezzie Catherine Wingate who died in December 1929 (?) and is buried in Pike County.  I do not have the exact date of her death.   Any information would be appreciated.  Thank You, Maureen Ott.  You may contact me at  cattaxi@canufly.net     08-04

Richmond, Ballard--Dear Sir/Madam:  I am trying to find the father of James D. Richmond (b. 1822;).  My problem, which I imagine is the problem of others is the court house burning down in the late 1800s.  He supposedly married Martha A. Ballard.  There is talk of James D. Richmond and two brothers or possibly half-brothers all marrying Ballard sisters (if this helps).  Also, there is talk of a William O. Richmond born about 1805 being James D.'s father, but then the name George Richmond also crops up as possibly being James D.'s father.  Any information you could offer would be greatly appreciated.  I cannot go back any further until I find out Jame D's father (hopefully there are no other court house fires).  Sincerely, Clifford D. Richmond. cliff@library.health.ufl.edu     08-04
