Farmers Union Warehouse Co.--I was born in Yazoo County in 1953.  I found some stock certificates (I think) that belonged to Grandfather, dated 1908.   The name on the certificates was "FARMERS UNION WAREHOUSE CO., YAZOO COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI,    JJ GRIFFIN - PRESIDENT    -    ABBOTT - SECRETARY. "   Does anyone know where I could find some information about these??  Rebecca  Foster Rainer.  brainer@earthlink.net     05-04

Covington--Looking for any Covington buried in Yazoo county cemeteries, especially in 1800's. Thanks, Larry, in ID.  larev@cableone.net     01-04

Coleman, Burnett--My name is Danette Darlene Coleman-Woodson, daughter of Henry Louise Coleman(6-07-1938) from Mississippi, son of Willie Coleman (1-1-1902) from Yazoo city, Mississippi and (Choctaw-Blackfoot Indian woman) Lou Alice Burnett-Coleman (4-28-1907) from Strong Station, Mississippi. These are my ancestors and I was wondering if there are any records or information on these individuals who were my grandparents. They had 6 sons and 3 daughters. { Joesph Coleman deceased, Bo Coleman deceased, Johnny Coleman is living in East St. Louis, Charlie Coleman or Akbar Coleman living in Memphis, Tenn, Marion Coleman living in Illinois and three Aunts:  Emma Lou Coleman, Alberta Coleman,  and  Medora Coleman, all living in New York area.  I only meet my grandfather once and he was reported missing in 1980 in Albany New York. I would love to know more about my family and its rich history. Please contact me with any information regarding my grandparents or any relative.  danette_woodson@yahoo.com     11-03

Moore, Ellison, Coker, Thompson--Searching for Gibson Moore. He was in area of Deasonville about 1830.  May have had a Ferry Boat on the Big Black River. Homestead was called Sara. Wife's name Elizabeth Moore. Children were Leroy Moore, William Moore, Joseph Moore, Elizabeth Moore and Margaret Mary "Polly" Moore. They married into the Ellison's, Coker's, Thompson's and Thompson again. Leroy and wife Mary Ellison had Joseph of whom I am a direct decendant. Other son, Harrison family still farming in the Deasonville area. They belong to the Ellison Methodist Church in Deasonville. Surely someone in the area has a family Bible on these people. Have been searching for a long time and am about ready to give up, please help if you can throw any light on these people. Allan Moore.  alvileor@juno.com     09-03

Bentley, Thomasson--Please help me to find the graves of my GGGrandparents. William Bentley died April 15, 1864 in Yazoo County, but lived in Holmes County.  He served in Company F, 3rd Regiment, 1st Brigade, Minute Men.  He married Eliza (Once married to a Thomasson). I have very little else on either of them except they left 2 small children upon their deaths. Sarah Bentley and Emsley Burns Bentley who I know nothing about.  They lived in Holmes around 1855 to 1864, owning land, which he left to Richard Thomasson along with his children.  Please, if anyone might know of any information about them, please let me know.  Also, I am looking for the grave of William Bentley if anyone might have
seen it...   Thanks, Cathy B. Hilley.  cathy@targetmarketadv.com   10-02, 01-03
