African Americans: A Mississippi Source Book published by Pioneer Press of Carrollton, Mississippi, is geared to historians and / or genealogists seeking information on sources for data on black Mississippians.  Primary focus is the manuscript collections at the Dept. of Archives & History, but includes other source material, such as black newspapers, black periodicals, et cetera, all related to Mississippi.  This compilation is by Anne L. Webster.
